US Orders

• All US books include a tracking number, which we can send at your request.
• Economy shipping is by USPS media mail for $5.50. Books sent this way can take 6+ weeks to arrive in Hawaii or Alaska, or during December.
• Priority shipping is $10.
• We usually ship books within 1 to 2 days.
• If you want to order more books, please ask! We will figure out the cheapest/best way to send them. Sometimes a flat rate priority box or UPS is best.
• We accept checks or money orders (payable to Emily Buehler) mailed to P.O. Box 1285, Hillsborough NC 27278.
• Bread Science is available at Kitchen Arts and Letters in New York City and the Craft Shop at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina.

Non-US Orders

• It may be cheaper to buy the “print-on-demand” version of the book. It should appear at every online retailer that uses the distributor Ingram.
• We can also send a book directly. The price changes periodically and there are some flat-rate options, so if you email us, we can tell you the current price. These prices have gotten high, and we are sorry about this.
• Most economy books arrive within 2 to 3 weeks, except to certain countries (I’m lookin’ at you, Italy and Mexico) and at the holidays.
• The USPS told me that they no longer track first class packages in the United States, but there is a customs number that might be trackable in the destination country.
• We have never had an international order not arrive, but a few took 6+ weeks, so we wait 8 weeks before considering the book lost.
• Expedited books arrive in 6 to 10 business days, although there is no guarantee. (We’ve only once had an expedited book held up, and it was during the holidays.)
• Expedited books include a tracking number. The USPS website tracks the book to the port where it leaves the United States. After that, you may be able to track the book with your own postal service.
